Basic Training (STCW) Approval: LISCR (Liberian Registry) – Valid 5 Years

This course is designed to provide seafarers with the essential skills required for safety and survival at sea. It is a mandatory requirement for all personnel intending to serve on board seagoing vessels.

Modules Covered:

Personal Safety & Social Responsibility (PSSR) – Understanding teamwork, communication, and safe working practices on board.

Elementary First Aid (EFA) – Basic first aid response, CPR, and treatment of common shipboard injuries.

Personal Survival Techniques (PST) – Survival at sea, use of life rafts, life jackets, and emergency equipment.

Fire Prevention & Firefighting (FPFF) – Fire safety, extinguishing techniques, and use of firefighting gear.

All new entrants to the maritime profession

Ratings, officers, and trainees joining vessels for the first time

Outcome:
Successful candidates will be awarded a Liberian Registry Approved Basic Training Certificate, recognized globally and valid for 5 years.

Security Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties (STSDSD) Approval: LISCR (Liberian Registry) – Valid 5 Years

This course equips seafarers with the knowledge and skills to perform designated security duties on board ships, in line with the ISPS Code and STCW requirements.

Key Learning Areas:

Understanding ship security threats and vulnerabilities

Handling security equipment and systems

Recognizing and reporting suspicious activity

Coordinating with the Ship Security Officer (SSO)

Responding effectively during security incidents
